Job Purpose

Assure full compliance with import regulations to guarantee a smooth Customs operations and Follows up on customs declaration.

What you will do in your role

• Receives notifications & copies of the imported goods’ documents from the procurement team and follows up with treasury team on the arrival of original documents and bank forms.
• Receives and verifies the shipment documents and delivers it to the clearance forwarder.
• Reviews the customs duties for all the imported items to ensure their accuracy to be paid.
• Handles the payment method with Custom Duties, whether current accounts or LG (in coordination with the Treasury)
• Liaises with the forwarders to check on the shipment’s updates, and communicates the release details to all concerned parties to take the proper action
• Develop daily reports to internal related clients.

Follows up with forwarders refunding the STR & DEM amounts if any & checks the final health release of the imported goods.

What you will bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree of business or any equivalent
• 1-3 years of Experience in Logistics Functions
