Job Purpose:

Ensures accurate demand forecasting, optimal product availability, and cross-functional alignment to meet business needs while leading the demand planning team.

What you will do in your role

• S&OP Process development

Lead the end-to-end S&OP process, ensuring effective collaboration across all functions and maintaining alignment between supply and demand.

• Supply Review

Facilitate regular supply review meetings to assess and adjust plans based on market trends, inventory levels, and production capacities.

• Weekly Supply Plan

Develop and manage the weekly local supply plan for finished goods by SKU, ensuring efficient inventory management and minimal out-of-stock situations.

• Rolling Forecast Review

Oversee the review and maintenance of the 18-month rolling forecast to support long-term strategic planning.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with production, sales, marketing, fleet management, and export teams to ensure timely product availability, effective utilization of resources, and successful execution of new initiatives.

• Export Fulfilment

Collaborate with the export team to fulfil international orders, ensuring accuracy in quantities and timely deliveries.

• Inventory and Fleet Management

Monitor and manage inventory levels, working with the fleet team to ensure maximum utilization of transportation resources.

• Team Leadership

Supervise and mentor junior planners, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

• Forecast Accuracy Improvement

Drive process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy, leveraging data-driven insights and robust cross-functional discussions.

• Demand Planning Excellence

Build and develop a high-performing demand planning organization capable of meeting evolving business requirements and driving ongoing improvements in the forecasting process.             

What you will bring to the role

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP processes, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle Demantra) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with a track record of improving forecast accuracy and driving process improvements.
• Knowledge of export processes and fleet management is preferred.
