Day to Day Operations

  • In charge of all Technical Buying spend activities (CAPEX & OPEX), ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, address supplier inquiries, and review requisition orders to confirm specifications and accuracy.
  • Compare pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines from various suppliers to identify the most advantageous options.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, focusing on cost management, risk mitigation, and addressing potential shortages.
  • Build strategic relationships with stakeholders, to understand business requirements, identify   opportunities to create value and to position procurement’s value proposition. Align sourcing strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct KPI reviews, analyzing and comparing savings, order fulfillment, and processing times on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Oversee the accurate entry of purchase orders into SAP, track order progress to ensure timely receipt of goods and services and resolve any discrepancy issues.
  • Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure effective team operation and development.
  • Prepare and analyze budget reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to procurement processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
  • Review and assess team members’ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), setting objectives and implementing strategies to drive improvements in procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Source and engage with new vendors, negotiate, and finalize contracts, and ensure adherence to relevant rules and regulations.
